#makeupbyvice

Although I work as a Producer/Performer, the one thing people usually remember about me is my makeup. Over the year's I've had plenty of makeup looks storm the internet, and have been working as a freelance MUA ever since. My looks aren't your conventional looks, for they are inspired by high fashion and underground club culture. This doesn't limit my style however, in fact its allowed me to have a vast cliental at such a young age. With Vice on the makeup team you can always assure of getting something edgy, energizing, and trend setting. Most of my makeup looks can be found on my personal instagram @maxwellvice , however below are some highlights + select choice of my makeup portfolio.

W Magazine: The New Originals
-
Photographed by Tim Walker for SS20 Printed Issue. After being found after a "drag easter bunny" look went viral on instagram, Tim Walkers team asked me to think outside of the box for their newest editorial. This makeup look was inspired by thermal color heat vision, and a classic mimes makeup structure.

Brian Beauty x Ice Vice Magazine
-
Featured in my latest issue of Ice Vice Magazine, I teamed up with Brian Beauty Cosmetics to create an ad campaign featuring young artist from NYC Club Scene. Makeup looks inspired by gothic eyeliners, tribal tattoos, and vampy lips.

Marshal J Mcglone Runway
-
Inspired by this middle of the eye concentrated blush, I replicated this look on a 20 model cast for a gorilla style runway at the lot radio. This is one of my most shared/saved instagram looks, and I'm honored for I was trying to conceptualize a makeup look that was subtle and bold at the same time, yet wearable on every skin tone.

Weslah FW19
-
After their makeup artist flaked last minute, I found myself assisting Weslah with these eyeliner looks during an event I was working at originally in the ticket booth. After I did one eyeliner look free hand, I asked to help with the rest of the models. This was my first runway makeup client, and it happened so last minute I had no concept other than: DRAMA!

Unconventional Makeup
-
I'm most known for deconstruction what makeup is, and using unconventional or "taboo" materials to produce beauty looks. This safety pin look is 100% safe and wearable due to sanding down the points, and being glued on with eyelash glue. I am to do more conceptual looks that involve other mediums besides eyeshadow and lipstick.
